Day nine and counting

We have begun the road less traveled and have applied for adoption using America World as our agency. We our excited, scared, in prayer and wonder, and steadfastly growing in our love for the Lord and one another. We have been praying for a girl or a boy from Rwanda to be a part of our forever family. Do you ever wonder how you get to where you have gotten from where you have been? I look back over the years I have been given and can remember talking about adoption as a nice thing to do, eventually, but didn't actually imagine that I would be a participant, that the path would be one that would be traveled by my own feet. What a beautiful opportunity we have been blessed with experiencing. Please pray for our family as we wait to hear back from the agency. One day at a time.
